FAQs

Blade Air's UVC Air Sanitization System

  • Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation, or UVGI uses shortwave UVC energy for germicidal irradiation. At Blade Air we utilize UVGI light at a spectrum of 253.7 nanometers, as other wavelengths are prone to producing ozone. Our UVGI technology achieves effectiveness from a holistic perspective. We combine multiple high-wattage bulbs, reflective panelling and proper circulation time, what we call the three pillars of UVC.

  • At Blade Air We utilize UVGI light at a spectrum of 253.7 nanometers that generates NO ozone, as other wavelengths are prone to creating ozone. Additionally, our designs ensure that the air is not circulated too quickly or too slowly because this can disrupt flow and allow contaminants to pass through the unit.

  • The Induct 300W can be easily integrated into new or existing facility HVAC designs. Due to the operating temperature of the Induct 300W Bulb (-20°C to +100°C), it can be installed on the return, supply, or makeup air. The Induct 300W is a quick and cost-effective installation, and provides a long-term solution with no maintenance required!

  • Yes, Blade Air takes pride in the quality and reliability of its products. All products are backed by a comprehensive warranty, and the company offers dedicated customer support to assist users with any queries or concerns.
